課程概述

Introduce the dynamic nature of the Earth and the development of structures or surficial features resulting from physical and chemical processes. The course will discuss the following subjects:

- Meet Planet Earth
- Global Tectonics
- Atoms, Elements, Minerals, Rocks
- Igneous Rocks
- Magmas and Volcanoes
- Weathering and Soils
- Sediments and Sedimentary Rocks
- Metamorphism and Metamorphic Rocks
- The Changing Face of the Land
- Groundwater
